Built to feel like assurance software inside Excel.

The dashboard surfaces progress, overall assurance, gap distribution and management focus without exposing the user to a conventional spreadsheet layout.

QMS Assurance DashboardExecutive assurance view across Clauses 4–10, with progress, scores, gaps and actions.

The workbook contains the complete clause screens, Action Centre, Executive Report, Guidance and calculation engine.

Assessment depth without copying the standard.

The workbook uses clause references plus original RG Quality Management intent, evidence and diagnostic wording. It does not reproduce AS9100D text. Each module provides an assurance structure that helps a reviewer distinguish a documented control from one that is genuinely deployed, evidenced and effective.

Four assurance gates

  • Defined — is the control appropriately designed and owned?
  • Implemented — is it deployed and consistently used?
  • Evidenced — can objective evidence demonstrate operation?
  • Effective — does the control achieve its intended result?

Management outputs

  • Weighted assurance score
  • Major, material and minor gap classification
  • Primary gap diagnostic
  • Recommended management response
  • Live Action Centre
  • Executive Report and clause scorecard

What the free tool is — and is not.

Is the workbook really free?

Yes. The complete XLSX workbook is provided free of charge. No payment or subscription is required.

Does it contain the AS9100D standard text?

No. It uses clause references and original RG Quality Management assessment guidance. Users should assess conformity against an authorised copy of the applicable standard.

Does the score prove certification readiness?

No. The score is a management assurance and prioritisation aid. It does not replace professional judgement, audit evidence, customer requirements or certification activity.

Can it be used with ISO 9001?

AS9100D incorporates the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system requirements and adds aerospace-specific requirements. The workbook is structured around the integrated AS9100D architecture.

Use it for AS9100 gap analysis, internal audit preparation and QMS assurance.

The workbook gives you a structured way to examine whether management-system controls are defined, implemented, evidenced and effective across Clauses 4–10. That makes it useful before an internal audit, during a QMS health review, when preparing for certification or surveillance activity, or when you need to turn broad concerns into an evidence-based action list.

It is deliberately not a copied AS9100 checklist. Clause references provide navigation, while the assessment prompts and diagnostic logic are original RG Quality Management guidance. Use an authorised copy of the applicable standard for conformity decisions.
